Nageshwara Charitable Trust is a Non Government Organization (NGO) registered under the Mumbai Public Trust Act 1950 with its registration number as E-1524 (NGP) dated 26th October 1999. The Trust’s Headquarter is at Nagpur and working in 3 states of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

The Trust was promoted by likeminded people whose objectives are to serve the downtrodden mass of the community.

The chief promoters of the Trust are Shri. S. Jambanna Swami, Anand Ghule, H M B Murthy and Prakash Kathale who are presently actively involved in various capacities.

The main objectives of the Trust are “Generation of self-employment, women empowerment, tribal welfare, farmer’s welfare, natural resource management, environmental protection and health and sanitation.

The Trust is achieving its objectives through participatory forum of women’s Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Farmers, clubs, Village development committees, Village Planning Committees, Watershed development committees etc.

MISSION: “TO BE A WORLD CLASS SOCIAL SERVICE ORGANIZATION, TO CREATE GAINFUL SELF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH MICRO CREDIT INNOVATIONS FOR RURAL AND TRIBAL WOMEN AND YOUTH, TO ENABLE WOMEN ATTAIN SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT, TO WORK ACTIVELY FOR RURAL HEALTH AND FOR ENVIRONMENT SUSTAINABLITY THROUGH PARTICIPATORY FORUM OF COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATIONS”


 

VISION: “TO PROVIDE LIVLIHOOD, SHELTER, IMPROVED HEALTH AND SANITATION, EDUCATION TO RURAL POOR FAMILIES, HELP FARMERS IN ENHANCING THEIR INCOME THROUGH GOOD AGRICULTURE PRACTICES, HELP THEM TO CONSERVE VITAL NATURAL RESOURCES TO CREATE OPPERTUNITIES FOR THEM TO LEAD A BETTER LIFE.”
